Project 4: Kaleidoscopes

I created these kaleidoscopes by cropping a certain part of an image duplicating that image four times and then reflecting three of the duplicates so that they all converged on a specific point in the middle.

Project 4: Contrast and Balance

In this project we looked at Contrast and Balance and the different types that you can have in a photo such as contrast in size, color, texture, value, shape and the three different types of balance symmetrical, asymmetrical, and radial.

Project 3: Final Color Grids and Photos

In this project we explored the different types of colors and how to use them to give a certain mood of feel to a photo. We also created grids specific to certain color schemes such as monochromatic or warm colors.

This grid is an example of monochromatic.

This photo was my cool colors grid. Although it is not my favorite it demonstrates the colors.

This photo I edited it to create a mood of darkness and loneliness my decreasing the exposure and desaturating the colors.

This photo I edited to be the opposite by brightening the colors the photo and the store is now more welcoming and friendly.

Project 2: Framing and Composition Contact Sheet

Photographers use contact sheets to lay out all of the photos they have taken and narrow done their final selection of photos whether the are edited or not. I created this particular contact sheet using a 6x6 layout that I created on Lightroom.
